About us

Your pediatricians, for more than four decades.

Pediatric Associates of Brockton has cared for South Shore children and families since 1975. We see patients from birth through age 23 and are affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital.

Our four offices offer extended weekend, holiday and evening coverage. In the office you’ll find allergy injections, hearing and vision screening, and behavioral health support. We take part in the Reach Out and Read program, and our staff speak several languages — families are also welcome to bring an adult interpreter.

Expecting? We strongly encourage a “Getting to Know You” appointment so you can meet our doctors and ask questions before your baby arrives.

Our commitment is to the safety of children. We follow the guidance of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on vaccines, not recent changes announced by the Department of Health and Human Services, and we recommend that children receive all state-required immunizations. Worried or have questions? Bring them to your child’s next visit or call our clinical staff at (508) 584-1234.

FAQs

Quick answers for busy parents.

Still wondering? Call (508) 584-1234 during regular business hours.

A pediatrician is a medical doctor who specializes in children’s care. Most are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics after passing a comprehensive exam. They provide preventive care for healthy children, medical care for acutely or chronically ill children, and guidance on growth, development, safety, nutrition and emotional wellness.

Yes. We strongly encourage expecting parents to schedule a “Getting to Know You” appointment to meet our doctors and ask questions about the practice or your new child.

Children should see the pediatrician for well-child visits starting in infancy, not only when ill. Pediatric Associates requires that all children age 3 and older have a yearly physical exam. The recommended well-care schedule is 2–3 days, then 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15–16, 20, 24 and 30 months, then 3 years, then yearly for a health supervision visit with a physical exam and developmental, behavioral and learning assessment.

Call the office during regular business hours at (508) 584-1234.

Yes, we always welcome new patients. Call (508) 584-1234 for more information.

Immunizations are a series of shots given at different ages to protect children from serious, potentially fatal diseases. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, vaccinations have reduced the number of infections from vaccine-preventable diseases by more than 90%. We highly recommend that children receive all state-required immunizations, and parents with concerns are encouraged to contact the office.
